We build the home you’ve always dreamed of coming home to.
All it took was one trip to Montana and the Flathead Valley for Paul to realize that the quality of life he was looking for was right here, in this corner of Northwest Montana. One week after visiting friends in Whitefish, Paul and his family made plans to move to the Flathead. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the building industry, Paul started building homes in the valley in 1993 and soon after formed Montana Build. Before long, the company expanded and started building custom homes throughout Montana.
After 25 years of building luxury custom homes locally and beyond, Paul and his team at Montana Build are now focused on utilizing their extensive experience, industry insight and local knowledge to build extraordinary homes for you, right here in the Flathead Valley.
When you choose Montana Build as your custom home builder, you have an advocate from the first handshake. We prioritize client relationships and specialize in clear and consistent communication. Wherever you are in the process, whether you already have an architect or not, Montana Build wants to discuss your home building ideas and provide the expertise that can bring your dreams to life.

Our
Process
After an initial consultation, we will visit your building site to analyze how to best integrate the property with your ideas. Then, we will sit down with our in-house design team or your architect to develop a custom home design and layout. From the structural materials to the types of finishes used, we will spend time on every detail.
Our
Values
We are adept at providing clear and consistent communication to keep our clients, local or not, fully informed about the progress of their home. Our team knows that every client is an important element in the process and is dedicated to ensuring an inclusive building experience.
Our
Promise
As a fixed-bid contractor, Montana Build aims to provide a fair estimate and a reasonable timeline before breaking ground on a project. After developing a comprehensive understanding of the scope of the work needed to complete your custom home project, we will present you with a price and a timeline for completion. This ensures there are none of the surprises that often occur when contractors follow a cost-plus business model.
